POSTCARDS FROM THE NASHVILLE ZOO

Ever since I was a child, I've been fascinated with animals, so it's no surprise that I love going on trips to the zoo.  I got the opportunity to go on a miscellaneous trip to the Nashville Zoo with my medical professions class, and I'm so glad that I did!

If you plan on being in the Nashville area and have some extra time in your schedule, I'd definitely recommend making a stop there.  A few of the exhibits are under reconstruction, but the remaining parts of the zoo make up for it.  My favorite spots were the bamboo forest (so very serene), the historic house and farm, and the kangaroo exhibit (couldn't pass up the chance to actually interact with kangaroos).

Just looking back through these snapshots makes me a bit nostalgic.  I know what I'm doing on my next break...
