Easter is almost here, birdsong rings through the air, flowers bloom endlessly:  what's not to be happy about?  So many of us view spring as a new awakening, a chance for the earth to come back to life in full force.  I don't think I'm alone when I say that I find myself being much more optimistic during the springtime;  I find myself doing things that make me purely and utterly happy, and in the spirit of spring, I've decided to share a few things that never fail to put a smile on my face.

There's an activity for every day of one month, and whether you can envision yourself doing these activities or you find them ridiculous, I hope they inspire you to seek a little bit of happiness in every day.

Prep For A Day

1. Read a new book (check out my past recommendations).

2. Go outside for the fun of it.

3. Watch a long-lost film.

4. Try a new (and possibly outrageous) recipe.

5. Watch a documentary that really, really interests you.

6. Write down miscellaneous things that make you happy.

7. Create a bucket list, and make sure to include every single goal.

8. Look at pictures of animals, or anything that you love.

9. Try your hand at calligraphy.

10. Go shopping (or pretend you're going shopping).

11. Find your idol, someone you want to emulate in your everyday life.

12. Take a bubble bath.

13. Read a blog.

14. Learn something that you never knew you wanted to know.

15. Go sightseeing in an unconventional place.

16. Look up Pinterest fails (trust me on this one).

17. Dance around to anything from pop music to symphonies.

18. Recreate outfits that you love.

19. Pick flowers for someone you care about.

20. Find a cause that you're passionate about.

21. Eat a wonderful meal (or three).

22. Watch the sunrise and/ or the sunset.

23. Play an instrument if you can.

24. Take pictures of everything for a day (make sure you don't miss the candids).

25. Make an idealistic life plan.

Prep For A Day

26. Look up quotes about happiness (this is my personal favorite).

27. Watch videos made by inspirational people.

28. Make a list of everything you have to be thankful for.

29. Spruce up your personal space.

30. Spend time with people you love.

Let's make this the happiest season yet.
