BEING A PREP FOR A WEEK: 4/3/16 -- 4/9/16

What a week.  From field trips to tests and everything in between, it's been exhausting. As if that wasn't enough, the lovely springtime weather has decided to be replaced by chilly frosts.  I'll join in with the many springtime enthusiasts by saying, "I want skirts-and-dresses-weather."

Besides that, I'm working on some big school projects, recuperating from the zoo field trip we embarked on yesterday, and putting my own tips to the test by taking the ACT today.  Wish me luck!

Prep For A Day

Now, on to some of my favorite links from the past week:
Some of the most beautiful sentences in literature--and some of them really are exquisite.
In case you missed it, a lovely roundup of spring desktop wallpapers
This article about children's ingenious test answers had me laughing hysterically!
Who else thinks these Anthropologie sandals are darling?

With the ACT in mind, I'll end today's post with a friendly reminder:  "What she tackles, she conquers."

How was your week?

  1. I love those sandals, if only Anthro was cheaper!!:)
    xo, Syd

  2. Hope you did well on the ACT, Tori! I take it in June for the first time (we take both the SAT and the ACT in NC so I've taken the SAT but not the ACT yet!)

    1. Thank you Katie! I've done a bit more with the ACT, but I'm also planning on taking the SAT soon. I hope you do well on yours!

  3. cute! Have a great week-good luck w/ your studies!-Katelyn
