A COLLEGE DAY IN MY LIFE: FRESHMAN YEAR

April 25, 2019

Hello everyone!  My first year of college is coming to an end (I'm heading home in less than a week!), so this post is a bit late, but I want to share it while I still can.

If you're curious about what a pre-veterinary student's typical college day looks like, you've come to the right place!  This is a brief description of a pretty busy Thursday in my life.  Please enjoy!

Prep For A Day

6:00 AM - Rise and shine!  Get ready, eat breakfast, and watch some mindless YouTube.

8:00 AM - Leave for my first class of the day.

8:30 AM - Chemistry Lab starts (one of my favorite classes).

10:30 AM - Head back to the dorm for lunch and working on homework.

1:25 PM - Head back out for the second class of the day.  Try not to melt in the Florida heat.

1:55 PM - Ants and Microbes, my research class (and overall favorite class) starts.

5:00 PM - Hustle to the library for an advisory board meeting after class is over.

6:00 PM - Head back to the dorm for dinner and more homework.

6:40 PM - Meet a friend and take the buses over to the veterinary college for a club meeting.

8:30 PM - Walk back to campus, even though the original plan was to ride the bus--that's always the original plan, but we still have yet to master the elusive bus system.

9:00 PM - Clean up at the dorm, do my dishes, and plan out everything for the next day.  Call my parents and chat about the day.

10:30 PM - Head to bed and get ready to do it all over again!

One of my favorite parts of college is the variety in each day.  It keeps things interesting, to say the least!

What does a day in your life look like?

Love,
Tori
